How Amgen Canada’s Employee Resource Groups Encourage Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging

Diversity, inclusion and belonging are not just a part of Amgen Canada’s corporate culture, they’re core values that bring the company together.

At Amgen Canada, a diverse, welcoming environment not only allows staff to thrive in their individual careers, it helps empower everyone to work better together as they live up to the comany mission to serve patients.

To help foster that environment, Amgen Canada assists employees in forming and taking part in Employee Resource Groups, or ERGs. These create a space for people from all walks of life — and all units within Amgen Canada — to come together over common concerns and aspirations.

In the video above, the heads of five Amgen Canada ERGs come together for a virtual panel discussion. Watch as Tony Bota, Country Head, HR, guides them through a talk about ERGs’ common goals, hopes and concerns.
