At 67, Ljubica was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. With three children and nine grandchildren, she has a lot to live for. So finding a treatment plan to manage the cancer and allow her to enjoy her life and family was a top priority.

Watch the video above to hear Ljubica tell her story. If you have multiple myeloma, talk to your doctor about finding the treatment plan that works best for you.

My name is Ljubica Busija. I’m 67 years old. I have been diagnosed at 2012 with multiple myeloma. And I’m trying to fight it – make the best of it.

I have an older daughter and a son and a younger daughter, and I have nine grandchildren. They give me life.

One time when I picked up the box of tiles, I has such a pain in my back. And ever since then, the pain was worse, worse every day.

Yeah, it was multiple myeloma.

Last year, it was so bad that I was bedridden. I couldn’t walk.

I’m getting better. And now I don’t want to give up. I want to be there; I want to be here. I want to see my grandchildren get married.

Speak to your doctor about finding a treatment plan that might be right for you, and discuss the risks and benefits of those treatments.
