Amgen Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Anand Varadan, to the position of vice president and general manager of Amgen Canada Inc. Mr. Varadan has been with Amgen for over 12 years during which time he has served in numerous sales and marketing leadership positions in the United States and United Kingdom. He most recently served as Amgen’s global marketing lead for the nephrology, cardiovascular, diabetes and neuroscience therapeutic areas.  Mr. Varadan received a bachelor’s degree in biology from George Washington University and an MBA in marketing from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester. Mr. Varadan joins Amgen Canada with the objective of delivering innovative biotechnology medicines to Canadian patients.
